The Colour of Sapphires

We absolutely adore coloured stones and one of our favourites is the sapphire.

Sapphires don't just come in blue, they come in a plethora of colours. 

From colourless, pink, blue, yellow and green through to orange, purple and black.

Sapphires are one of the big 3 gemstones next to emeralds and rubies. They are created from coronium.

Corundum is a hard and durable mineral. It is the second hardest gem to diamonds.

Sapphires date back to at least the 7th Century BC and were imported from India (now Sri Lanka).

From a spiritual sense, sapphires are said to bring calm and focus to your mind and restore balance in your body.

They encourage a better understanding of yourself, and help you become more secure in your own wisdom and convictions.
