We would like to wish our clients a very happy Chinese New Year and share with you some of the handcrafted pieces we have created over the years to mark the occasion and to celebrate Chinese culture.
Firstly, jade. Jade is such a special stone and is associated with healing, purity, good luck, protection, harmony, love, merit, morality, grace, and dignity.
Below is a Purple and Green Jade Necklace that we crafted with onyx and diamonds. This beautiful piece was inspired by a full moon representing peace, prosperity and family.
The Jadeite Jade Buddha Pendant pictured below is one of our all time favourites. Jadeite comes in an array of colours with green being the most valuable. Jadeite commands some of the highest prices in stones today. The back of this pendant features an ornate monogram in Mandarin translating to 'The light of Buddha is everywhere'.
Dragons are incredibly meaningful creatures representing power, strength and good luck. Dragons are also a special favourite of ours.
Below is a custom made dragon ring we created featuring diamonds and emeralds set in 18ct yellow gold.
And below is a dragon cuff in 18ct white and yellow gold with rubies being modelled by Doris from our private collection.
If you are looking for a piece of jewellery to commemorate Chinese New Year or to celebrate Chinese culture, we would love to assist you.
Chat to us about your dream jewellery piece and we can sketch out some ideas and create a piece just for you in our very own workshop in Claremont, Perth, Western Australia.
We can also work with your existing stones to create something truly personalised and meaningful.
Examples of stones could be loose stones that have been handed down to you as heirlooms, an old engagement ring that you would like to repurpose into a pendant, or broken jewellery that you would like to take the stones out of and re-create into a statement ring.
As our workshop is on-site, your precious stones will never ever leave our premises until you take them home.
Visit us at 24 St Quentin Avenue Claremont or contact us to find out more.
Valentine's Day is next week, Friday the 14th February.
