Platinum and 18ct Gold Specialists

Did you know that we specialise in platinum and 18ct gold? In fact, we were the first Perth jeweller to work with platinum, 35 years ago.

Platinum

Platinum is highly resistant to stress and the elements, making it a great choice for jewellery as it retains its looks better than other metals.

Platinum also makes a good choice for allergy sufferers, as it does not contain any nickel.

In terms of maintenance, many clients opt for platinum as it does not need to be re-plated to restore it to its original state like white gold does (view more on rhodium plating here).

18ct Gold

18ct gold is more durable as it contains more gold and it does not wear away as fast as other carats.

18 carat gold can be re-melted, so it can be re-used and re-made into new pieces of jewellery, making it a good investment for astute jewellery buyers.

When considering a piece of jewellery, be sure to look at the metal used and compare when assessing pricing so that you are comparing like with like.

If you have any questions regarding platinum or carats or any other jewellery query please contact us. We would be more than happy to assist.
