February Birthstone - Amethyst

Christian bishops once wore amethyst rings to symbolise royalty and an allegiance to Christ and Catholic clergy wore it in their crosses to symbolise piety and celibacy.

We love the vibrance of amethyst, especially when set in 18ct yellow gold, as purple and yellow are complementary colours.
