Baroque Pearls

Baroque Pearls

There are two main types of pearls; round (considered to be a traditional pearl) and baroque.

Baroque pearls are some of the most interesting and beautiful pearls on the market.

Known for their shape, baroque pearls are those that are not round, but irregular or abstract in shape.

Shapes can range from minor to more pronounced irregularities. Most cultured freshwater pearls are baroque because freshwater pearls are mantle-tissue nucleated instead of bead nucleated.

Baroque pearls make a wonderful choice for clients who want something a little bit different and would like to express themselves through a bolder and more unique pearl jewellery piece.

Chat to us about your dream baroque pearl piece and we can sketch out some ideas and show you our range of loose pearls on hand. We can also source your very own special baroque pearl.

We have a lovely range of pearl jewellery for sale online in store.

Visit us at 24 St Quentin Avenue Claremont or contact us to find out more.
